Our
life in Washington
Life
has been non-stop since we arrived back in Washington, but we are having
a great time. Brenda is working overtime as a
teacher for the girls, a babysitter for many cousins, and she is also
a member of MOPS. I have been volunteering full time as an apprentice
to Don Cain (the missions pastor at Mill Creek 4square), and I am excited
to say that I recently volunteered to be the
Jr. High worship leader at Mill Creek 4square as well. We are also hosting
a small group Bible study at our home on Tuesdays.
On the side I am working whenever possible: building web pages, selling
t-shirts on Ebay, helping install deck railing for
condo's with my Uncle and of course working on Mission Geographic

Trusting
in the Lord and daily miracles...
Our first 2 months here have been financially tight (to say the least),
but God has provided for us on a daily basis. In October we
were $600 short of our rent. Brenda and I prayed and questioned "if
we lose the house in the first month will we change our
direction?" The answer was no. We trust the Lord that he will direct
our path and having a house does not change that. A few
days later we received exactly $600 in the mail. Having faith is a daily
test and it is never easy, but letting God have control is
extremely rewarding.
What's
next?
We are continuing to build Mission Geographic. We feel our calling is
to be advocates for missionaries. We feel that Mission
Geographic will be an effective way to bring help to our friends on the
Mission field. We also feel like this can be a great tool to
unite churches. We are starting to see strong support from churches already.
Brenda and I feel like this may be preparation for
a life long call into missions. We are also looking at several missions
opportunities later this year and in 2006
Good
news
-We are starting to get plugged in here with local
churches
-Missionaries are beginning to send us information
for Mission Geographic
-We
are continuing to receive support which has been a huge blessing through
our many transitions this year. We want to thank
you so much.
